I am an avid coffee drinker who has gone through stages of my life where I drank primarily matcha. Matcha has always been a bit of a treat for me, and I tend to enjoy trying out different price points to see if I can tell the difference. What I have learnt in my personal experience is I can only really tell the difference between ceremonial grade and not ceremonial grade. This one falls into the not ceremonial grade which is most of what I consume(as ceremonial is very pricey) and there are things I like about this blend. Right off the bat I must mention that I sweeten all but ceremonial grade matcha because I find the taste slightly too grassy for me. With this one I find it's a bit milder, I could probably drink it without sweetener and be happy. That being said I definitely made a version for myself with some honey and a bit of frothed dairy free creamer. It tastes pretty decent that way but with plain water it is fine too.The benefits: This one was actually hard for me because just the act of not consuming coffee causes way less bloating for me and better digestion. It's hard to say if this blend alone is helping me but I do find this kept me from being bloated. I also love that I didn't get jittery from it. Matcha's tend to avoid jitters but not all.
This is great matcha tea!! It tastes great and a little goes a long way. I love the high quality ingredients. Recommended.
This DoMatcha Digest Blend is made with high quality matcha and is an authentic Japanese product. I didn't know what to expect of the taste, but it tastes better that I thought it might, it tastes like good quality matcha but with a roasted aroma. It contains zero added sugar or fat. It arrived with a best by date that is a little under two years.
While I love matcha, this digestive mix was not completely to my taste. It is much earthier tasting than I prefer. However, this does help with digestion and is soothing after over eating - this will definitely be on hand during the holidays.
I go through phases where I really enjoy drinking iced green tea frappes. I usually get plain matcha green tea powder to make them, but decided to try this one because of the additional healthy ingredients in it.I first tried it just with hot water to see how it would taste. It’s a bit stronger than I expected it to be, so for me, a little goes a long way. It’s not bitter, and the flavour is very similar to regular matcha green tea powder. After thoroughly mixing it, there was a tiny bit of grit/powder that didn’t dissolve, but it was only a small amount, so I wasn’t bothered by it.I’ve used this powder a few times now to make my iced green tea frappes, and they taste exactly like they're supposed to. Delicious! All of the ingredients go into the blender, so I don’t find any undissolved powder. While this mix works great for my frappes, I would only buy it occasionally because it’s significantly more expensive than my regular matcha green tea powder. If cost weren’t a factor, I would exclusively buy this one for the benefits of the additional ingredients.. If the cost isn’t an issue for you, then I think it’s worth trying. Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful. 😊
