It's that cosy time of year where hot drinks just hit differently! We paired with our great friend Heather Pace at Sweetly Raw for a decadent holiday matcha beverage.
She developed this drink with our Master's Decaf matcha as a base, so that it could be enjoyed as an after-dinner treat for family dinners, or just with a book while winding down for bed. But if you would like to enjoy it at a different time of day, you could easily substitute our Summer Harvest instead!
Matcha White Hot Chocolate
Vegan - Gluten Free - Keto
1 cup coconut milk*
1 tablespoon melted cacao butter
1 tablespoon melted coconut butter
1 tablespoon powdered xylitol or Lakanto
1 teaspoon Master’s Decaf matcha
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
*Use regular or full fat (in a can) for extra creaminess, and omit the coconut butter.
Warm the coconut milk on the stove until it’s hot and just starting to boil. Pour it into a blender along the all other ingredients and blend until frothy and smooth. Pour into a mug and enjoy immediately. For extra decadence, top with coconut whipped cream.
